The knight's cottage is a part of historic " Maison de l'Argentier du Roy" property (reward GreenLeaders Tripadvisors, "Gold") ; like it, the cottage origin is from 15th century, inside 12th century town's walls, in the little Fort Saint Ours.
The knight's cottage has been totally restored, to make it a (rewarded 4 stars) comfortable holiday rental, per week, by the owners Philippe and Christine (reviewed for their B&B next door, Tripadvisor top5 Loire valley of 960 B&Bs, and "Traveller's Choice 2014").
Location adds many other local advantages : in the Chateaux de la Loire Valley, in this historic médieval centre of the beautiful village of Loches, Royal city, which saw prestigious history actors, like Joan of Arc, Jacques Coeur, Agnes Sorel, and many kings as Charles 7th, 8th, Louis 12th, Francois 1st...and "Richard Lion Heart".
